‘double tuck’ takes a constructed steel form as a geometric space to contemplate ideas. Through a reductive tri colour palette there is a blurring between interior and exterior volumes, thereby questioning traditional notions of front and back. Spatial perceptions are examined through the eyes of the viewer.

In 2022 Emma received a Creative Victoria Sustaining Creative workers Grant to develop a series of folding metal sculptures, for her Melbourne solo exhibition, ‘infinite systems’ at James makin gallery.
