Seeking out as many variable spaces as possible to utilise as painting supports. Coulter created spatial deconstruction #4 (vortex) over an intense 3 day period in response to the under stair structure and the unique combination of natural and artificial light.

This work remains a favourite work in the oeuvre of her spatial deconstruction series, and it is the only time that she has just used 3 colours.
