Dinner for four, refers to the mundane nature of the repetitive tasks required to cook and care for a young family.

This work is one of a series of four paintings created for my composites solo exhibition. These paintings utilise the grid as an underlying organisational device, whilst allowing an organic composition to evolve and flow. These works examine domestic life and the work of women, through hard edge abstraction. Made through the process of raising my young children they combine a Memphis style narrative with a more decorative approach to painting.
