‘mixed colour systems’, 2014 to 2022, is a painting first executed in 2014, during Emma’s masters study at VCA. Archived and re-found in 2022, the work was completed by the artist, and the title references both ‘old colours’ and ‘new colour systems’ compiled in the one painting.
