As part of Coulter’s first Sydney solo exhibition, ‘trace patterns’, the artist created an insitu painting, spatial deconstruction #16 (truncated geometry), in response to the white illuminated gallery space, it’s connection with the outdoor space, and the body of trace patterns work created by Coulter - a series of autonomous improvised geometry paintings, and light casting reflective coloured sculptures.
